Standards are butterscotch yellow. Falls copper red, lighter in the center. Marigold beards. 7 buds, ruffles increase with higher temperatures.

Wonderful things happen when you live close to an experienced hybridizer of Keith Keppel’s caliber. He was kind enough to share two reselected seedlings with me that had rebloomed in his field, and of course, I crossed them together! As Beauty Does’ spring stalks are better on 2 year and older clumps. Summer and fall bloom provide brighter, more intense colors and significantly more ruffles. It is fertile both ways and has produced a wide range of colors including some iridescent blends, some pink and even a few plicatas. Initially, it preferred to bloom only in the fall. Once it settles into place, it can bloom multiple times. Even after the PNW's 2021 ‘heat dome’ where we saw record highs up to 117 degrees, As Beauty Does, had many stalks that bloomed starting in July.
